Foreign Investor Realized Net Sales Of 48 Million Dollars in Stock Market

In Stock Exchange Istanbul, foreign investors realized limited sales even in March after purchases in the first two months of the year. According to Borsa Istanbul data, the foreign investors, who are on the buyer side in the first two months of 2017, made net sales in March. The foreign investor realized net sales of 48 million dollars in March. Thus, the net purchase amount realized by foreign investors since the beginning of the year has been decreased to 922 million dollars. Foreign investors bought $ 816 million in January and $ 154 million in February. On the other hand, in the Stock Exchange Istanbul, the BIST 100 index rose 1.68 percent in TL terms versus 1.80 percent in dollar terms versus foreign investors' sales last month.

Foreigners Sell Mostly Halkbank Shares

Foreign investors preferred Garanti Bank's shares last month with a net purchase of $ 43.1 million, while Halkbank was the biggest shareholder with a net purchase of $ 76.2 million.
